Thanks to the Charismatic Renewal my Catholic faith has become more meaningful. My relationship with my family particularly my husband has never been better. My whole family now say the rosary frequently and attend the charismatic pray meeting at our church. This is an amazing movement. I've seen people's lives changing dramatically for the better after being involved in the movement. Praise the Lord.
Charismatic emphasize on transcendental experience without examining the historical voodoo origin of the charismatic movement is one reason why it is so popular. If your experience of failure to be healed cannot he held as evidence of the falsehood of charismatic movement then those healed under the charismatic movement cannot be evidence of its truthfulness because voodoo practitioner also claimed that they can heal and bring happiness to others.
