Alex Jones' Testimony

Pentecostal Pastor becomes Catholic Deacon

Alex Jones was the charismatic preacher of a thriving black independent Pentecostal congregation, Maranatha Christian Church in Detroit.

He became a Pentecostal Pastor in 1972 and set up his own Pentecostal church in 1982.

“No one wants to be Catholic where I come from. Not even Catholics,” He joked.

His conversion began when he began looking at early Christian worship with a congregational study group. Ted Haggard's Story

Ted Arthur Haggard was a well known American evangelical pastor. He was the founder and former pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado; a founder of the Association of Life-Giving Churches; and was leader of the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) from 2003 until November 2006.

He had it all: prosperity, a doting wife, five kids and a ministry that reached more than 30 million followers who hung on his every word. But in 2006, it all fell apart in a sea of scandal. He was exiled from the church he built and the state where he lived after admitting to “sexual immorality” and to buying illegal drugs.

Discovery Channel is teaming with the Vatican for an unprecedented new series hunting the deadliest catch of all: Demons.

"The Exorcist Files" will recreate stories of real-life hauntings and demonic possession, based on cases investigated by the Catholic Church. The project includes access into the Vatican's case files, as well as interviews with the organization's top exorcists -- religious experts who are rarely seen on television.
